This shot isn't as clear, but the only one I have. Gannon tried Basketball this summer and enjoyed it. It was tough and short season. His team had all new players, meaning kids that haven't played basketball in a league before. They all were good players, but most of the teams we played with were existing teams. Overall, I think everyone improved and I hope they have an appreciation for the game. Gannon did say he wanted to try again this fall.
He got in the game when he could and really tried to defend, despite his size. I told him to be a "gnat," that was my strategy when I played sports. I think he actually listened to me! : )
Irony of it all, their team name was the Mavericks. Better luck next season!!
