I thought we were ready for school until Sunday night. I told Gannon it was a school night and he didn't want to go to bed. Grant said he didn't want to go either and that he didn't want to meet his teacher. Arg! Then I said that I was going to meet his teacher and he doesn't have to. He answered back with, "Gannon is going to meet his teacher." We went over this again today, but he still got into the car.
Here's a couple of snapshots I took around the classroom. He hung out in the kitchen and then met his "jumping buddy." I found out from his dad that he loves to jump and that he also likes Thomas. I was relieved he found another buddy and then his friend, George walked in. They were both more than happy to hang out with each other. Keep your fingers crossed for tomorrow! Below, I was able to get him to take a picture with his teacher, Ms. Tata. He closed his eyes twice when I took the picture so I guess we'll try again tomorrow. He even gave her a big hug before he left and told me later that she's a nice teacher. Whew!!
