I went to NYC last minute to watch my Uncle Johnny (we are 3 years apart and were very close growing up) graduate with a Masters in Social Work. He is the first from my family to graduate with a Masters from an Ivy League school. I was really glad to have joined the family in NYC. I think we all built a stronger bond with each other, despite the distance - Texas, California, New Mexico, Florida, New York, and Hawaii (moving to Washington). I didn't get to do everything I wanted, but oh well! I see another trip coming up soon.
