SFA Graduation/Mother's Day in East Texas

Well, Richard had SFA Board of Regents duty at the graduation so we had all morning to hang out and go exploring. It's a great and quiet little place, much like the "Ranch House" we stayed at for Richard's birthday last year. It's near Lake Nacogdoches and had a feeling of being out in the country. It was nice for a change and the kids could run around and I didn't worry too much as if we stayed in the city.

Anyway, some of these pictures you see are only part of what we did that morning. There is a fishing dock - no, I didn't fish. Are you kidding me??? It's way too hot in Texas, even during the month of May. : ) Lots of places to enjoy nature - kids found lots of dirt - and "paths" to do nature walks and even swimming. The top picture is of the boys sitting out on the porch just outside our room.

The second picture is of them on the bridge - I tried to be artistic, ha, ha...

The third picture is of the boys sharing an old-fashioned swing.

The fourth picture is of them falling off of it as I tried to steady them on the wooden swing.
